"The notorious gridlocked one-way system in Harlesden will be replaced by a new two-way traffic scheme next week as part of a £4.5 million regeneration project.

"From 7am next Thursday, 16 October, High Street Harlesden and Manor Park Road will welcome traffic from both directions in an effort to improve the town centre and make it more attractive to shoppers.

"Drivers are being warned that work to switch the traffic flow will start from 9pm the day before which includes the completion of semi-pedestrianised zone of the High Street."
