Dear Harlesden Town Team member,
THANK YOU so much for attending the Harlesden Town Team official Charter launch meeting on 4th October, and for your part in helping to make it an enjoyable and productive session.
We attach below, as agreed, the draft copies of our proposed name and mission statement, and welcome your comments. We will present updated versions at our next meeting, and trust we can then agree these. A clear mission statement is key to presenting our purpose to ourselves and to the wider world, so it is important that we are all happy with it.
We were very pleased with the enthusiasm shown during the pillar breakout sessions. If you have additional issues, please do send them to us. Now is the time to get everything on the table.
The Brent Transportation presentation indicated a real possibility of practical improvements to Harlesden in the near future, and a willingness to work with us from the very early stages, to achieve an end result based on genuine concensus.
This is a great opportunity to address many of the issues on our pillar list, such as
- parking
- traffic flow
- safe accessibility for bicycles and pedestrians
- pollution reduction.
Please send your responses to teamharlesden@yahoo.co.uk.
Thank you again for your attendance and support. Onwards and upwards.
