BBC: "Do trees on the streets make people happy?"

  1. There are many health benefits of a well-treed environment, as well as gains from carbon sinks, urban heat island effects, flash flooding, climate adaptation, etc.

Unfortunately, that is only preaching to the converted, and the majority of residents that live within more challenging areas are only interested in how they can pay their next heating bill and if they have enough money for food etc.
