Brent Artists Resource is proud to present 'Stuck on the Wall': an exhibition by the internationally acclaimed group: The Stuckists.
“They are one of the most dynamic and interesting groups in the UK nowadays," says Lorenzo Belenguer, the gallery coordinator, "and they need no introduction. It was of great pleasure when they accepted our invitation to exhibit at TheWall@TheGallery. Expect lots of fun, great ideas and a show that will not leave you empty-handed."
Although The Stuckists have exhibited at the Walker Gallery in 2004 and in Mayfair in 2010, Chris Yates states that, for him, TheWall@TheGallery is his favourite ‘gig’ . This is because of, he goes on to add, the ‘inclusive’ nature of the venue, and the diversity of culture that your work is exposed to’
‘STUCK ON THE WALL’ is the first time that the stuckists have included children’s art, in an attempt for the exhibition to be as diverse as the people who pass through. The primary school age children are S.K.Y. and Lucy Doo, two excellent artists. Also included are seasoned veterans such as Ella Guru who is everybody’s favourite. This is the first time that the Stuckists have put on a show like this, so it is not to be missed. There is also a ‘catalogue’ featuring all the artists for sale at the ‘Private View’ and beyond.
List of artists exhibiting: Ella Guru, Charles Thomson, Joe Machine, Wolf Howard, Mark D, Chris Yates Sky, Lucy Doo, Alice Marrinan, Dan Belton, Jasmine Maddock, David Wilson, Hamed Lapsking Dehnavi, Jacqueline Jones, Kyla Bullows, Paddy Cartwright and Jane Kelly

Preview party: Thursday 13 January, 6-9pm
Brent Artists Resource is proud to present a solo exhibition by the emerging artist: Shikyba Azizi. Shikyba was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. She lives and works in London. She says:
“Through my work, I try to reflect events experienced in war torn Afghanistan, my homeland. Personal experiences of war where death, destruction, hunger are commonplace in extreme context to my life in the west where I live in exile. My work attempts to address issues relating to the tyranny of war and can be seen as a metaphor for eternal conflict and resistance.”Shikyba Azizi 07786 545 529 Barow40@hotmail.co.uk
