"Most household waste fits into landfill waste bins. We also offer a comprehensive recycling service with the blue-top recycling bin, organics wheeled bin, food waste container, and garden waste biodegradable sacks.

"However, larger bulky waste items, like tables and lamps need a separate collection.

"We offer a free bulky waste collection service for residents. Households can get up to five separate items collected each time and each household can have up to three free collections per financial year (1 April to 31 March).

"We will only collect items that are classified as household waste. For example we will not collect fixtures and fittings (from house and grounds refurbishment waste), soil and rubble, and clinical and hazardous waste."
