"The Harrow and Wealdstone train disaster, Britain's worst peacetime rail crash, killed 112 and left 88 injured 60 years ago today, on October 8 1952. Mirror reporter Nigel Whitcomb sent this eyewitness account, published in the Daily Mirror the following day."
