"Brent has come top of the pile in a list of borough’s set to benefit from hundreds of new street trees.

"The borough has been given funding for 200 new trees, putting it in the top two of the 19 London Boroughs included in the plans.

"The Street Tree Scheme, which strives to bring colour and breath new life into areas in need, is being delivered in partnership by Groundwork London, the Forrestry Commision and the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson."
