"Despite near-freezing temperatures, Kensal Green residents took to the streets last Saturday to talk rubbish with their neighbours. Offering hot tea, coffee and pastries for breakfast, the Kensal Green Streets team talked about ways to make their streets cleaner.
"Nathalie Monnot, co-ordinator for the Green Streets project and co-chair of REACH RA explains.
“We are encouraging our neighbours to think about how they get rid of their household rubbish – particularly on roads like Park Parade where bags are dumped on the pavements. We think face to face chats are the best way to spread the word.”"There will be another free Rubbish Breakfast in a month's time on Saturday 27th April from 9am.
