Tues 8 July: Brent Connects Meeting on Old Oak Common

"The next meeting is scheduled for 7pm on Tuesday, 8 July at Tavistock Hall, 25 High Street, Harlesden NW10 4NE (entrance is the blue door next to Methodist Church). Disabled access is on Tavistock Road next to Burger King.

"After the recent European and local elections, Brent’s new and re-elected members are in place and set to ensure that Brent residents know about the work the council does to give people more say over how their council services are run.

"Officers from Greater London Authority will be discussing the Mayor of London - Boris Johnson’s proposals to transform Old Oak and Park Royal into a thriving new district with up to 24,000 new homes and more than 55,000 jobs.

"In addition, we will be inviting your views on the best use of Community Payback scheme in your local area.

"Brent connects area forum is an excellent opportunity for residents to be a part of how the council engages with local people.

"For more information, contact Bola Olatunde on 020 8937 1073 or email consultation@brent.gov.uk.
