Choose Harlesden's Top Shop!

Harlesden's Town Team is looking for our favourite shops in town. Nominated and voted best by the residents, workers and visitors to Harlesden.

What makes a favourite Shop?

It may be the service, the quality and range of the goods sold, or just the plain and simple atmosphere. It's up to everyone to choose.

There will be six awards:

1. Best Non-Food Retailer
2. Best Service Shop
3. Best Food Shop
4. Best Pub/Cafe/Restaurant
5. Best Contribution to the Neighbourhood
6. Best Newcomer (or Refurbishment) in 2011

... from which we will select one to be 'Harlesden's Top Shop 2012'.

Anyone who lives, works or visits Harlesden during March can nominate one retailer (this includes pubs, restaurants and services etc) in each category. All the nominations will be sorted by Harlesden Town Team (the organisers) and posted on the town team website in April, where anyone can vote. Voting online will be possible at the library for anyone without access to a computer.

The winners will be announced at Love Harlesden on Sunday 17th June.

March 1st: Nominations open.

March 31st: Nominations close

Voting (6 Weeks)

April 16th: Nominations announced: Voting begins

May 26th: Voting closes

Saturday June 17th: Awards announced.

Terms and Conditions

• Nominations may be made by any user of the shops in Harlesden. Nominations from anyone under the age of 18 will need to be countersigned by a parent or guardian.
• Any individual may nominate only one retail outlet in located in Harlesden (for the purposes of this promotion, this refers to NW10 postcodes in sectors 4, 8 and 9, plus Station Road).
• Anyone making a nomination accepts that their name may be used in the future promotion of the Harlesden Town Awards scheme.
• Harlesden Town Team reserve the right to disqualify any nomination for any reason.
• Nominations close on March 31st 2012. Nominated outlets will be listed on the Harlesden Town Team website from 16th April, where shop users will be invited to vote for their favourite shop.
• Only one vote per category will be allowed.
• Winning shops will be announced at the Love Harlesden Event on Sunday June 17th.
