  1. Dear

I am the Chair of the Harlesden Town Team and a resident of Harlesden since 1961, I have been though the race fights, the riots, the gang wars and gun crimes but I also have some great memories of what a loving and caring community we can be.

The members of the Harlesden Town Team 2010-, the local Councillors, Brent Council, and Transport for London have put a lot of time, love, and effort into this project, we feel that with our passion for Harlesden, our knowledge and professional skills we have come up with the best option for the regeneration of the town centre.

I am fully behind the Harlesden Town Centre plans; I believe that moving the
Clock a few mitres will benefit the community as a whole, this will make the Jubilee Clock a land mark for the beginning and ending of the shared space.
In years to come people will look back and be proud of their new town centre.

We have spoken to the kids in John Keble School and Newman College there our full behind the moving of the Jubilee Clock also.

All due process was followed and the residents who wanted to be heard did so at that time, the horse has already bolted no point in closing the gate now.

    Thank you for your time.

    Yours Faithfully
    Leroy Simpson
